Algoa Bay is Bottlenose Dolphin Capital of the World
Tuesday, 19th April 2016On Monday 18th April 2016 Algoa Bay was officially launched as the Bottlenose Dolphin Capital of the World. Raggy Charters and Nelson Mandela Bay Tourism hosted the launch at the Algoa Bay Yacht Club with over 270 people attending. After talking to various scientists and dolphin watching companies around the world there is no doubt that we can claim this title as we have such huge pod sizes and such frequent sightings, with over 30,000 individuals using the bay every year.
