We saw splashes, and stopped to determine where the whale was... after a few minutes it snuck up behind us and surprised everyone!

With roles reversed, we became the watched and the centre of attention for this young whale, as it swam around and under our boat several times.

After a few minutes, it's curiosity satisfied, one last breath, it then dived and disappeared into the depths.

What an amazing marine wildlife encounter!
