Ladies Brunch & Talk

On 14th July 2023 Purity and Annemieke told their story - bringing many a tear to the eyes of the ladies who kindly joined us for the morning.

Purity telling all of how she grew up in Bushbuck Ridge, Mpumalanga - far from any oceans. How her Father's love for the wildlife and their many visits to the Kruger National Park inspired her to want to learn and protect the wild animals. Purity studied at NMU and was awarded her Diploma in Tourims Management. She joined Raggy Charters in 2017, then furthered her studies to be awarded her degree in Tourism Management and became a qualified Marine Guide. Loving every minute of it, Purity has now become quite the videpographer and editor and compiling amazing footage for the Raggy Charters You Tube Channel. Purity has grown in leaps and bounds and we are so proud to have her as part of our team. Purity's talk was aptly named: "Becoming Purity Khosa"

Annemieke joined us on 3rd June 2023 and has touched many a heart while she was here for 3 months.Her story of a single middle aged women traveling, working remotely and volunteering was so well received and was extremely inspring to all who attended. Annaq's story of heartache and battlis along the way made it so real for many.

Annemieke (Anna) was all hands on deck from day one when joining the Raggy Charters Team. Anna helped with our Annual Whale Festival on 4th June and with tours as often as she could inbetween working on our educational material for young children. Researching ways to assist with getting the message to young children on plastic pollution. Anna initiated a fantastic collaboration with Mosaic NPO and The Retrade Project. Which we are so excited to continue as an amazing add-on to our Educaton Project. We will soon be updating all on this exciting project. Anna was always enthusiatic and having fun along the way.
