Sub Antarctic Fur Seals Visit Port Elizabeth

Saturday, 14th September 2013

Two young sub Antarctic fur seals were found stranded along the Eastern cape shoreline. They were injured and underweight so were taken to Bayworld where they were rehabilitated and released once strong enough. These seals come from about 1600km South of South Africa so must have been an exhausting journey. Let's hope they make it back home safely!
